This article is old, but the mind map is still broadly current in terms of the range of testing areas where we need people.
We now have both GPS and GAEN solutions that are in need of testers. GAEN testing requires that testers have access to 2 or more physical devices (iOS or Android).

Right now, we need testers for many kinds of testing and testing prep. The high level mindmap below shows what we have identified. Lets talk about what you are interested in working on and what we need the worst right now.
Additionally, for experienced testers who are able to make an ongoing commitment to the project, are able to provide leadership in a particular areas of testing, we have open test leadership roles in the following areas:
Safe Paths Mobile App
Algorithms
Path Check Platform
IT infrastructure & Demos
Website
In each case, the key responsibility is to be a primary point of contact with the relevant Dev team, and make sure that we understand, and are delivering on, the testing needs of that team.
