It will be livestreamed on TechCrunch. (Please see below for details on speakers and partners). We are having companies building CT/EN applications demo their products at the event. To avoid scheduling and technical issues, we’re having companies record a five-minute demo in advance of the event, which we’ll air during the stream. We’ll invite attendees to ask questions during the demo in the chat, so ideally your company will have a representative available while their demo is being aired so they can respond to questions in the chat. The demos will run between 12:30pm and 2pm ET on Wednesday (June 3rd). The event will be live-streamed on TechCrunch. Two asks: • Can you please send us a recorded version of your demo by Monday? Just record it as though you are giving the demo live. Please don’t spend unnecessary time producing it. If you’re not comfortable recording on your own, we can set up a ten-minute call with you and Kit (our events director, cc’ed) and she will record your demo via Zoom. We encourage companies to record their own, however, as the quality of the video is generally better. • Can you have have someone on your team fill out our survey for contact tracing applications here by Monday? We’ve asked this of all companies that will be demoing. Information gathered from this survey will be used to better inform decision makers in state and local government, technologists, and the public, about the privacy and security features of leading contact tracing and exposure notification applications. Thanks,Connor____Join us on Wednesday, June 3rd at 11am ET / 8am PT for an extensive discussion on contact tracing/exposure notification applications and demos of the leading products that are or will be available in the US.   The Tech Task Force is hosting this event in collaboration with Harvard’s Berkman Klein Center, NYU’s Alliance for Public Interest Technology, TechCrunch, Betaworks, and Hangar. Please RSVP here. The event will be a forum for stakeholders in state and local government, technology, privacy, healthcare, and civil rights to understand recent developments in contact tracing, exposure notification, and the applications being developed in the space.
