Depending on Guam's timeline, this release may also include Tagalog and may add Guam to the list of available Health Depts (that decision will be made in the next 24 hours).@xian and I are working on the plan to communicate this release to the broader PathCheck organization (your input welcome).It is worth noting here that the GAEN team is also fast approaching their first release (!) so I wanted to clarify a key difference between the GPS app and the BT app, so that if you find yourself in conversation with Pathcheck colleagues outside of the product team, you are equipped with accurate info -The GPS team builds and maintains a single app, with a list of available Health Departments. As additional "customer" Health Departments sign on to implement GPS, the delivery team collaborates with the outreach/implementation team on the rollout. This includes adding the Health Department to the growing list in the app and adding designated languages.The BT app strategy is different in that PathCheck makes a copy of the app for each "customer" Health Department and releases it separately to the app store. This is directly related to the requirements of connecting to the GAEN server, which @Bob Mallon is far more equipped to speak to.Excited about the progress across the team, and looking forward to continuously improving how we manage and communicate releases!anything else? shoutouts to folks on the team who have gone above and beyond? call to action (download and give feedback?)?

A general reminder to all PathCheck folks about the SafePlaces (GPS) app vs. the GAEN (Bluetooth) app:
For jurisdictions adopting the GPS contact tracing model, there is one single SafePlaces mobile app, and we incrementally add new jurisdictions to it in partnership with health authorities.
For jurisdictions adopting the Google-Apple Exposure Notification API, we release a unique version of our app in partnership with each jurisdiction.
