  • In onboarding, I had to read the privacy policy (which is short and easy to read). I did not have to read the terms.

  • There’s an explicit warning screen about Scammers in the onboarding, explaining that nobody associated with the app will ever reach out to contact you and certainly won’t ask for any additional info.

  • There is consistent and repeated messaging about the importance of using the app, throughout.

  • There is a very extensive FAQ built into the app, covering a wide range of topics, including how it works, privacy, why it is so important, and just about everything else imaginable. (38 questions in total!)

  • Very full-on in encouraging adoption, so e.g, the answer to “Do I have to use the App?” is a long piece about why it is really important for everyone to use the app, followed by the final observation that it is optional if you don’t want to.

  • Screenshotting of pages in the App is blocked. (otherwise I’d have shared a load of screenshots).
